What names do you love but will never use?
Why wont you use them?

There are soo many, especially Boy names. The reason why I would never use them...Andrew is picky and we never agree. I am still shocked we both agreed on "Xavier" for our son. I thought he would be nameless til he was 10!

I love the name Brandi and could never use it because of a former student that ruined it for me (she spelled it Brandy). Ironically, one of my favorite former students is named Brandi too (with my favorite spelling) but unfortunately the bad one is the first one I think of.

This is going to sound really self centered, but I love my own name Genevieve. It's unique, but has a common nickname. I would never name a child after myself though...

For boys I love Cayden, but since DH's step sister named her kids Sabin and Jaden I feel like our kid's name shouldn't rhyme with theirs.

I really like the name Liam but i would never use it since it is SO common around here now in the last three years.

Also any of the "aiden" names..i swear to god everyone around here names their kid aiden, kaiden, braiden, jaiden. The only "aiden" name i like is kaiden but i like it spelled caydon.

I love the name August for either a first or middle name .. Always have! But, my first boyfriend (that first love *sigh* lol) his middle name was August. Probably why I've always liked it so much. But, I think it would be wrong to name a baby after an ex!

Which is also why I can't end any first name with the "lee" sound and middle name with the start of "Ann" - DH had a psycho ex named LeeAnne so every time I hear those names together I remember her. Although honestly, I've never been a fan of "Ann" anyway so I wouldn't use it, but it's just on that NO, NEVER! list for me lol

I loooove the name Katelynn. I even love all of the nicknames for it. Kate, Katie, Lynn, Kat. They're all so dang cute but I have a cousin who I'm fairly close to that had her daughter 10 days before I had mine and named her Catlin. Ahh! It makes me sad lol I always wanted to use that name!!

I love the name matilda for a girl. But, we would shorten it to Tilly, and of course its such an obvious rhyme for kids to make fun of "tilly has a willy" so we wont use it. I think its such a beautiful name tho.

and i love the name Evangeline. And i think if we were american it would be perfect, but in a bog irish accent, evangeline doesnt sound nice. and we live rurally, so people would be talking to her with their awful bog accent and it would just sound terrible!

For a boy I love Tiernan, but it doesnt go with our last name, its too long. And i ADORE Turlough (Tur-lock) but dh hates it. oooohhh and Tadgh (Tie-g) but dh hates the spelling, he says it looks made up. But its an irish name that cant really be changed, because there arent any letters that make the last G sound.
