Have you ever received any sweet or nice comments from strangers about you or your children?

I get a lot of compliments about Emily's pretty eyes and what a good baby she is. She's pretty happy unless she needs something and I try to make sure she's fed and well rested before we go out, so that's why they think she's lovely

the one that will always stay with me was when jake was about 4 or 5 months old and he was FREAKING out in a shop. I was getting a bit panicy cos he wouldnt stop and I couldnt leave.
A woman in her mid 60s came over and told me "calm down pet. most people are looking and are thankful its not them! and the others dont have kids and their turn will come. you're doing great."

I always have someone tell me how handsome DS is. DD is a beauty, but people seem to look over that when I have DS. My grandma even told me when I brought DS home how he was the best looking kid I have had. I was not thrilled with her. All my kids are beautiful.

Aww. So sweet of that woman to do that! Things like this renew my faith in the human race.

When my kids were babies I was always getting compliments, as people do. "How sweet your baby is!" "Your baby is so cute!" etc.

Now, though, DD is more reserved and keeps to herself so she gets overlooked quite a bit But DS is so out there and makes his presence known, he gets all kinds of comments/compliments on how cute he is, how funny he is, etc.

I feel kind of bad because I do this too when talking to people about my kids. I always have more to say about Cole than I do Mehkaelie. I try to work her in but people get tired of hearing how smart she is lol Oh well, I say it anyway.
