ive tried and tried to go to playdates but it never works out..the other moms are just rude and always have that holier than thou attitude because i am a lot younger then them.
my last straw was last august i took the kids to a playdate and it was our first time..not a single person said anything to me. i tried to talk to a couple of the moms there and i got shunned away and basically ignored so i said F it and we left after about an hour of the kids playing at the park. i wanted to cry, i was playing alone with my kids while everyone else sat around laughing and talking and anytime i said anything like hi or introducing myself i got this look like go away.

I used to go to a mommy and me group, which i LOVED. i started there when jake was 6 months old and i had to leave when he hit 4 cos the insurance wouldnt cover us. I miss it desperately.
At first it was a little hard cos people saw how young i was and assumed i didnt know squat, but i'm a very forward person when i feel I am being wronged, so i kept pushing into the conversation. I'm sure i was a bit annoying, but eventually people let their guard down and included me. I always made a huge effort to make new people feel welcome. they stuck around so i think it worked!
I do want to try baby massage with this baby, i have heard such wonderful things!
