I seem to be choking on my drinks or my own spit on a fairly regular basis. It's like I forget to swallow before I breathe. It happens at least once a week or so and ALWAYS at an inconvenient time (like when I'm trying to sneak out of the baby's room after getting her to sleep or during class). ugh. I remember it happening more while I was pregnant with Emily and I think I read about it being common because sometimes with all the changes in muscle in the lower half of the body, your brain gets lazy about controlling important muscles elsewhere. Anyone else having this issue?
Wife to sweet husband Jeff and mother to 2 beautiful girls: Emily (2) and Jocelyn (1).
Oh yikes that would drive me crazy! I hate choking lol I get all dramatic about it thinking I'm going to die haha
Luckily I can say no, I haven't - but I've always heard that it's fairly common. Something about the mixture of hormones and like you said changes in muscle tone/mass etc. I hope it stops for you soon!!
