I had a disaster of a weekend. It was harrys christening and dh birthday and we had a party on saturday and sunday. was not eating good food. wasnt too far over my calories, but feel crap and sluggish today. really bored too so finding it hard to stay out of the kitchen.

Saw some photos of myself from harrys christening. I got a shock at how big i look. I feel like i should be motivated by them to stop looking that big, but i feel a bit down about it, like i failed and let myself go so badly. Trying really hard not to let that drag me into a binge and its almost 3pm and i feel i am doing really well not giving into it.

dont let it drag you down!!! dont look at it as a failure....just look at it as a bump in the road...my weekend was HORRIBLE too....lol....but you know what?!?! its OKAY to have off days...its not a diet...dont look at it like a diet...look at it like a lifestyle change cause thats what it is...and if you dont have some off days you are only gonna go crazy....you need to indulge every once in a while....and its OKAY to do that!! just keep going

I'm down 20, but that's all from the birth! I was about 8 lbs over my starting weight when I went into the hospital, so I'm down about 12 lbs from that. My mom was here cooking her comfort food last week, so I did not eat well. Thank goodness that breastfeeding seemed to compensate for that. I'm heading to the store to stock up on healthy foods and hoping to stay away from the sweets. I need to find some healthier replacements to the processed sweets!

I've lost the 20 I gained during my pregnancy so that's a start. It's all from breastfeeding though lol I'm hoping here in the next week or so when I'm able to actually start walking and stuff I will start losing regularly again. I have such a long way to go :/

I am an absolute disaster this week. Harry has been so cross and isnt sleeping during the day so i either dont eat or i grab whatever is quickest. Then i feel so guilty for being off plan. So right now i'm going to stop counting calories and just work on eating healthy foods, whatever they may be. once things calm down a bit here i will go back to counting.

kristy, you are so close to your goal, dont get discouraged! maybe move to maintenance calories for a few days to get your metabolism in gear, your body has prob gotten used to what you are doing and needs a bit of a shake up. keep going hun!

hope you enjoyed your walk!

I am struggling so badly. I havent fallen off the wagon, but i'm hanging on by a thread. I really dont want to let go, but i cant seem to get it together. Lunch is just a huge challenge. harry does not let me eat at that time, and by the time he is settled its 3pm, i'm ravenous and dont have time to make something cos i'm rushing out to collect jake from school.

I just cant seem to get my sh.. in gear!

I have not done anything. I have actually gained a few pounds AFTER giving birth, go figure. But I have been so busy that I have like no time to do anything. I am not too stressed about it though. My weight loss plan right now is nothing, I am all about Drake.

I am 3kg (6.6lbs) away from my pre-prego weight. Well I was at my last weigh in about a month ago. Think I have gained a KG or so tho lol but that is cause I stopped going for walks! Our 4WD broke down, so I haven't been out.

I gained 100lbs in jakes first year. 2 weeks after he was born i was back in my preprego clothes, but steadily gained in the following 12 months. I blame the change in lifestyle. I went from a very active job to being a sahm and sitting holding my baby all day and didnt change my eating to match.
and tbh with the hectic lifestyle of a new baby is very reasonable to gain weight after the birth! they say it takes 9 months to gain the weight, give it 9 months to get it off! Love your attitude to it hun. even tho i gained 100lbs, i dont regret spending all that year holding my baby. I can lose the weight, I will never get the first year back.

i agree its great to be able to be "all about baby" but dont let it become an excuse....i've seen it happen year after year the excuse becomes my kids come first yadda yadda and while that is true...the kids cannot truly be happy unless YOU ARE HAPPY you have to make time for yourself and do things for yourself and not feel guilty about it...i personally am still working on this cause i still feel guilty for doing things for ME....but im getting MUCH better at it and finding im much happier and in a better mood most of the time...which in turn makes my kids happy and they are in good moods!
