Have any of your children gotten lost?
Where were you?
Were you angry or relieved when you found them?

Have you taught them what to do in case they ever do get lost?

Not yet thank goodness, I would feel terrible and probably have a heart attack. I have talked to him about it a bit, but should do so more.

If Drake got lost you could call me the worst mother ever since he is only 3 months old. But I can only imagine!!

When I was 10ish I think I was at a store with my brother who was 3 at the time and he got lost aka hid on me, and I about died! So if that was to happen to my son I would have a nervous breakdown.

None of them have ever gotten lost but I have tried to teach them to find a trusted adult, like police or if it's in a store an employee.

Nathan did once scare the bleep out of us. I got up and he was not in his room then wasn't down stairs. I SCREAMED for my DH and we searched and searched and the doors were all locked and he was 3 so I knew IF he had gone outside he would not have locked the door on his way out. On the verge of calling 911 we found him hiding behind a table leaf that was propped up on a wall and he had pulled a huge pack of paper towels up next to him so we didn't see him. OMG it was awful!

I haven't talked to my daughter yet about it...I've only talked to her about strangers and just the thought of me losing her somewhere would freak me out. Haven't had it happen yet but I guess I do need to talk to her about it since she thinks she is a 16 yr old trapped in an almost 4 yr old body.
