Have any of you bought any girl scout cookies this year?
Which are your favorite?
Were you in the girl scouts?
Is it something you would like your kids to be involved in?

Have any of you bought any girl scout cookies this year? no, and I wont. Only 50 cents from every box goes to the little girls who are selling them. Everything else goes to things I wont support.

Havent gotten any this year although if DH sees them he'll get some. He loves their cookies especially the coconut ones. Unfortunately, he buys several boxes and then they sit in the cabinet for months and noone can touch them cuz they are "his" favs so they sit and sit and I get annoyed LOL.

My favs are the Lemon Drop ones.

I did a 6 wk Girl Scout thing when I was around 13ish. I didnt find it a big deal but it was nice to meet other people.

If my boys wanna do Boy Scouts we'll discuss it.

I haven't bought any either. I feel like the prices get higher and the cookie servings get smaller. So, yeah, I can't justify it. I do looooove thin mints and caramel delites/samoas though.

I was in Girl Scouts when I was younger, 1st thru 4th grade maybe? If Leah shows interest, maybe, but I don't really care one way or the other.

I like the mint ones (probably a bit different here than in the states, we have Girl Guides). I don't usually buy them though.

I honestly haven't seen any girls going door to door here! Maybe they don't anymore?
I don't have a favourite! We hardly ever buy them as we never get the chance to.
I was part of a group called Brownies haha its like girl guides
I will give Eve the option and if she wants to, she can join!

I used to buy them until I found out how little the girls were getting from each box. I would rather my girls be involved in sports or other groups.

BTW, for those of you who like Samoas, Keebler has a cookie called "Coconut Dreams" and they are exactly like Samoas. I buy them when my grocery store offers them buy one get one free since then they are about 1.80 a box. Even at full price, you get more cookies for slightly less money and you don't have to wait for a specific time of year to buy them.

Which are your favorite? Thin Mints
Were you in the girl scouts? For all of two seconds, LOL.
Is it something you would like your kids to be involved in? Yes. Alaina's in it now and Taryn can't wait to join!

No, and we won't because DH says they "taste terrible now that they took out the trans fat", lol.
Which are your favorite?
Thin mints
Were you in the girl scouts?
Yes, for about a year until they started mentioning camping trips. Then I quit really fast... which is funny, because DH and I have done a ton of camping now.
Is it something you would like your kids to be involved in?
I don't feel strongly one way or another. It depends on whether they show an interest, which will probably have more to do with whether their friends are in it or not.
