For those of you who have babies under 6 months, how long are they awake for between naps during the day?

Harry doesnt really sleep during the day. He has 20 mins around 8.30 am and another 20 mins around 2pm. If we are really busy during the day he will snooze in the car when we go pick up dh at 5.15, but its only 15 mins or so. He is awake the rest of the day, until bedtime at 7.30/8pm.

Jake was like this too, when he was about 6 or 7 months old he started having a nap at noon for 2 hours. i'm hoping harry will start that too!

I ask because before last week, she would be up for an hour and down for 1-2hrs. Now, though, she is awake anywhere between 2-4hrs and I'm wondering if this is normal. I see it is

Every baby is different I know, but it was just a sudden change that I wondered maybe something was wrong. Silly me

I am, however, rather glad about this change as now we can actually go out and do stuff for as long as we want without her being cranky after 1 hour
