Oh no, poor little guy!

I had them when I was younger.

Jackson had them last year, he got them at daycare. He wasn't sick or anything, and didn't even scratch that much. He didn't get too many spots, compared to other kids I've seen. So all in all, it was pretty easy to get through.

I hope it's not too bad for him! Oatmeal baths are good for itching!

I didn't get chicken pox until I was 15 and it was HORRIBLE. I remember hearing the older you are when you get it, the worse it is and boy was that true compared to my 4 year old brother at the time. Ugh.

Leah hasn't had them.

I had them when I was younger I dunno... 8 years old? I'd have to ask my mom. I kinda remember it, so I wasn't little little. It sucked. I remember that!

Alexis hasn't had them yet. OMG, she's a drama queen. It's gonna be terrible.

I was in kindergarten when I got the chicken pox.

On a side note... DH NEVER got it, even though his parents sent him to play with every kid they knew who had it!!

I would totally drag my kids to a chicken pox party, lol! DD1 has the vax, but it's new enough that I don't think there's data about how long it's effective...

Lnj5duke, I never had them either. My brother and sister had them, i shared a room and i was applying the lotion on my sister every day (i am 11 years older) and all the kids in my class got it, and i didnt.

But when i was pregnant, they check to see if you are immune to things, and i am apparently immune to the chicken pox virus. I asked my doc and she said i could have gotten it and just that the spots didnt appear, or i might have had one or two but just thought they were bites or pimples.

Hope it doesn't get too itchy for Jake and that it clears up soon!

My mom says I got them when I was younger but she can't remember what age I was. Harvey hasn't had them yet!
