Do you have anything in your house to protect you if your home got broken into? eg baseball bat by the bed, big vicious dog, home alarm etc?

We have a house alarm, plus lights front and back of our house that detect motion and switch on if there is anybody there.

We don't really have anything. DF would be my defense and a pretty good one at that. I have a sword that's decoration but could still do some serious damage haha.
Aside from that I always have all doors/Windows locked so the noise of them trying to break in would alert us before they actually got in.

a samari sword that is actually just for show but could do some damage if you thrust it into someone.
DH and I both want a small handgun, but I'd settle for some pepperspray lol

We don't really have anything to guard us, unless you count the golf club in the garage, two cats and a bunny rabbit. If we could make it to the kitchen our knives would come in handy maybe a vase to crack over their head lol...

A handgun, a shotgun and a husband who's in Law Enforcement. I'm pretty sure my German Shepard would go after someone if I was in distress too. At the very least, he and my smaller dog would make a lot of noise. lol

We have some guns and 2 little dogs who think they're big dogs, but will run away at the first sight of danger.

We have a wooden night stick like thing that is tacked right outside my bedroom door. Someone comes in they will have a few busted bones cuz that thing is a pain bringer!!

We have a barky dog and DH has a gun. I may look into a night stick or decorative samurai sword though! LMAO

I have several.
First line of defense, fence.
2nd, a dog that barks at anything as low as a mouse fart.
3rd, I have movement alarms on all windows that somebody is able to climb in easily.
4th, I have a DH that is in law enforcement and a US Marine who is taught extensive defensive tatics.
5th, My DH is gone often over night and if none of the above deters somebody from coming in my house, I have a handgun, shot gun, bow and arrows and an AR 15 that I am proficient in. I will try my best to avoid shooting somebody, but when it comes down to it, I WILL protect my family at all costs. In my bedroom, there is no way to flee since the windows are pretty high and no doors out in the back of the house.

 Thank you for that laugh, Im a bit nervous this morning and that totally got me rolling and feeling better.
I also forgot to mention I have scissors. Used to sleep with them under my pillow when I was single cuz my attitude was "if Im going down so are they". Now I could grab them easily cuz they are in the living room in a basket and nail someone but good if needed.

I'm a very light sleeper and good with a gun 
During the day I keep a gun on the top of the fridge because there have been home invasions (someone knocks you answer the door and they push in) so I don't answer without a line of defense in hand.

we have several weapons but dh and i keep a hidden and out of chilren reach loaded weapon that only we can get too.. also dh and i are certified on 9mm and dh is airforce with certifications on several weapons. he is an excellent shot! also we have a 105 pound german sheppard and 2 other dogs that bark when we move in the night.. we live in a pretty noisey neighborhood so i know that they would call the police or help us out if we needed it..
