Hi I could really use some ideas here. Even though I am happily married and have a big family I still get lonely. I have resorted to having a spotless house and am addicted to reality TV. I just need people to chat with while everyone is gone for the day. Does anyone feel the way I do and does anyone have any ideas? I live in a small town and live a conservative christian life so some activities and company is not appropriate. Am I bored or am I lonely?
i feel like that all the time!! i live in a very small town...well not even IN town...we live out on the outside of town and i have taken to walking with a friend daily...and i have my next door neighbor that i hang out with and talk to sometimes...do you know all your neighbors? you should go introduce yourself! you never know you might find your best friend in one of those people! put yourself out there and try

Most of my neighbors dont speak english because with a big family we had to find a rental we could afford so it put us in a not so good part of town. I do have one friend on the other side of town but shes as busy as me. Do you think making friends of another culture and belief system is a good idea
thank you for letting me know I'm not alone in how I feel
of course its a good idea!! no sense in secluding yourself just because the families are of a different culture...teach your children to be open and loving of ALL people

Agree with Kristy. One of my very good friends is a very conservative christian lady, and I am pretty much polar opposite, and don't believe in god at all. But we get along just fine, we respect each others beliefs/decisions and don't judge
