Hi all! I don't post in here usually, just lurk. But I made an activity jar for my girls this morning and wanted to share it



Here's our list of activities, you can always pick and choose or add more but for now this is what's in that jar (vase).

Make homemade finger paints
Make a masterpiece with sidewalk chalk
Go on a bike ride
Make a treasure map and go on a hunt
Make your own Memory game and play
Create puppets and put on a show
Build a fort
Write and illustrate your own story
Make your own play
Make a crayon/watercolor painting
Write some thank you notes
Create artwork using your hand/footprints
Activities w/ colored pasta
Make old coins shiny w/ salt and vinegar
Play pretend restaurant
Make jewelry from things around the house
Indoor bowling
Red Light/Green Light
Play “Hot and Cold”
Play Hide and Seek
Make an obstacle course and time yourselves
Hopscotch
Make a collage of your favorite things
Make an ABC book
Go on a color hunt
Make masks
Fingerpaint with Pudding
Blow bubbles
Jump rope
Hula Hoop
Wash cars and bikes
Play in the water table
Squirt bottle tag
Have a dance party
Have a pretend movie theater
Create puzzles from drawings/photos
Make pinwheels
Play dominoes
Play go-fish
Do some school worksheets
Have an photoshoot w/ props
Draw while blindfolded
Play musical chairs or freeze dance
Dress up
Make bath paints w/ shaving cream and food coloring
Play charades
Have a race in the backyard
Make finger puppets
Interview each other
Make a family tree
Write in your journal
Do something nice for someone else
Play on the climber
Play in the sandbox

Very cool When Xander is a little older that's probably something we could try, but just don't have the space to accommodate any kind of activities indoors!
