Has anyone done a colon or liver cleanse? I want to do one. But I don't know if they really work if if it's all just hooey.

as far as i can tell its just hooey....if you want a "'cleanse" just eat clean...buy nothing but fresh stuff...fruits veggies...etc....anything not pre-packaged

I have never done one, but I'm hearing more and more that they're just hooey. Like Kristy said, eat right. Fruits, veggies, cut down on red meats, that'll keep ya clear naturally.

A friend of mine did a cleanse once, it involved not eating anything for like a week and just drinking this mixture of water, lemon and cayenne powder I think? Anyways, I remember him saying it was nasty, that he would take the HUGEST dump ever each day at the same time. It grossed him out that all that stuff was built up in his intestines.

I personally could never do one, I like food way too much!

eating clean, and drinking lots and lots of water really clears out your system. I'm doing that now

yeah that colon cleanse is how they prep you to do a colonoscopy LOL

Eh, I wouldn't do it either.

I totally think you can "cleanse" yourself by doing a clean diet. I think I cleaned myself when I started my green smoothie intake LOL!
