Does your family have any fall traditions? Trips to a pumpkin patch, baking a certain treat, coordinating a theme to your Halloween costumes? Share 'em here!

We're dressing up as an Amish family for Halloween. My boys weren't too sold on the idea, they wanted to go as The Avengers. I told them Mom's pulling Veto power on this one LOL My husband has even been growing his beard out for it!

I got our fall decorations put up over the weekend. Still need to get some pumpkins. I don't know if we'll actually make it over to the pumpkin patch or just get some from Walmart. I also love anything pumpkin flavored. I already made pumpkin cookies the other week and I'm thinking a pumpkin cheesecake sounds delish! (and this goes right along with the confession I just made in the other thread... lol)

ohh yeah we usually carve pumpkins this month too...although at the local trader joe's ( i need to find out what day they are doing it) they are doing a pumpkin thing but the best part is they already have the pumpkins degutted LOL so all we have to do is take the kids down to carve them!

and i do like to make at least one from scratch pumpkin pie!

We do go to a pumpkin patch every year, but not for the pumpkins. The places around here have so many things for the kids to do from hayrides to corn mazes to jumpee things. They have a lot of fun and we go with my best friend and her kids. Then we head over to Walmart or Aldi and buy pumpkins and take them home to carve or decorate.

We also love apple cider, pumpkin pancakes, and bonfires around this time of year. We are actually looking for a new fire pit because our old one has lived out its life and is ready to retire lol I also LOVE pumpkin coffee and pies!!

I haven't really decorated because we're tight with money right now but I plan on picking up a wreath and some fall candles when DH gets home, we're gonna go to a pumpkin patch and I want to make that a tradition.. I just tried doing crafts with Audrey to decorate paper pumpkins but Audrey covered hers in dinosaur stickers then ripped it lol. she doesn't quite get crafts yet . but we'll watch halloween movies and cartoons all month and bake fall cookies.. I know it will be more fun as she grows

We will do pumpkin carving. I roast the pumpkin seeds for DH and MIL because they like to eat them. I don't have any decorations or anything up this year because of the move. This is my least favorite time of year, but I do love pumpkin flavored and scented things.

We've been going to the same pumpkin patch the last couple of years. Soooo fun! We carve them when we get home and I roast the seeds.

I also decorate for fall over Labor Day weekend, then again for Halloween at the beginning of October. We usually make various pumpkin-flavored treats - lattes, muffins, pie, etc - here & there throughout the month.

We always go to the apple orchard. She loves it. We go to one that has local homemade ice cream, too, so we get it everyyyyy year as tradition.

Trick or treating, we usually take her to the mall. That's been tradition since she was young, because it's more safe than our streets here.

I love fall.

I usually want to hold onto summer forever and therefor never want anything to do with fall or winter. But this year I have been crafting for winter since August so I am in the mood. Making some pumpkins today to decorate my front porch.

We will probably go to a pumpkin patch one weekend pretty soon. The boys are ready to carve!
