What is a russian twist?

I had leftover noodles mixed with a can of diced tomatoes. DD had a peanut butter sandwhich. Not sure what DH had, he was sleeping when I got home.

we had a tuna casserole. Then I sent all the kids straight to bed, early, because they were in RARE form today.

I picked up Subway for dinner last night. We tried the new Tuscan Chicken. It was pretty good!

Urgh. I. AM. SOOOO. F$#q#$^ TIRED!

Iam so tired of waking up every 1-2 hours all night (occasionally 3) for 13 months.

It's a book written by Elizabeth Pantley. Basically she has a program you follow but you pick and choose which aspects of it you want to do. It's designed to get your child sleeping better without making them cry it out.

DH refused to even talk about... kept avoiding the subject, when I asked what he would do if my IUD was out he said " just not have sex"
awesome thanks for being mature and having an adult conversation..
he seems to think that if he ignores it for long enough I'll just get over it and move on.

ahhh...i did CIO to a certain degree....not that raianna or elyse did it cause they slept through the night...but helena did not....but i didnt let her cry and cry....i let her cry for about 5mins would go in there...without picking her up....rub her back talk to her calm her down then leave....eventually she got it LOL....most of the time though when she woke up at night she wasn't even really crying...she was just awake...a little fussy but she sure was a night owl!

awwwe Sam I am sorry!! keep trying to talk to him explain to him that you NEED to have an open and honest conversation about this....his not communicating is only going to make things strained...

just tell him you need to know why he doesn't want to have anymore kids...and that you are not trying to force this on him but you want him to see your side of things just like you want to know more about his side of things...he may feel like hes being forced into it....and you dont want that...

Ditto what kiliki said, but my immature reaction is get him drunk.... Just kidding!

Deep clean of the house today and catching up on all laundry (I hope). My kids were really in rare form yesterday and don't want to clean their rooms, so I am cleaning their rooms and removing all their toys, etc. They will have their beds and dressers, that's it. They can earn their stuff back IF they obey the house rules.

OH, and we had a bat in our house last night. DH thought it was a bird, I screamed it's a bat, and thankfully we opened the back door and it flew right out!

I made Audrey's thanksgiving and Christmas tutu's last night. I wish I had known when she was born how easy they are to make.. would have saved me a lot of money!
I have a few people wanting me to make them some, but I'm not sure how much to charge, I feel bad since its so easy to make them.

Good luck, Rachel! I'm so not looking forward to the sleepless nights to come. But it's worth it, right?!

I'm sorry to hear that was his reaction, Sam. I hope he'll actually talk to you about it soon.

Eek, about the bat! That would definitely freak me out!

Ugh. Don't you hate responses like that? It would make me want to slap him. My husband likes to take the ignoring approach to things he doesn't want to talk about too. It drives me nuts.

Look on ebay or etsy and see what people are charging for the tutus. Make sure you take into account how much the supplies will cost and adjust accordingly.

I am still on the hunt for a Halloween costume for DD. It makes me frustrated when either her size is sold out or it didn't come in her size in the first place. She needs like a 12-14 and most of the time it seems I have to look at the tween/teen costumes. Then they start getting a little to sexy looking... UGH. I did come across a few last night online that I am going to show her and see what she thinks.

well for the tutus sam i would make sure to charge for the fabric...figure out what it costs to make one tutu then add in 10 dollars for labor...so you are probably looking t 15-20 dollars for one tutu cause im sure it prolly only costs like 5 bucks in supplies for 1....i've made a couple and want to make a few more when i get the chance...they are super easy! and cute too!

ok and prolly TMI here but i bought a sammich at target today...one i have had before mind you and have eaten before and loved...holy crap this time?? i about puked it up!! i couldn't eat more than a couple of bites...
