$15 is a good price! I just paid $22 for Squeakers Birthday tutu that included a matching headband with over sized flower. I found it at our local fall festival. I was super excited!

then the weekend of Nov 3 watching 2 little kids from saturday to monday-she is gonna pay me 85 dollars a night
might get a bit of a breather until the weekend of the 16th then me and dh want to go out

then we got december...raianna's birthday, elyse's birthday...then i'll be watching a little boy for a few days from dec 21? to the 24th LOL...and then i'll be house sitting/watching for a friend..and watching her dog and chickens LOL for about 2 weeks....
and of course christmas!
maybe breathing will be optional after the first of the year?

I had a really rough day today. Avery has been very whiny and clingy and crying a lot. I try to be very loving and understanding and cuddle her lots, etc but there is only so much a person can take.

Something is bothering her. I tried tylenol and she was still fussy. I can't wait for bedtime and I hope tomororw is better.

yeah there were times i had to just put them in bed and walk away when they were fussy and nothing i did calmed them down....dont ever feel bad for doing that...LOL cause really mommy needs a mental break sometimes!! its a lot better than being aggravated and holding them cause they sense that aggravation and it makes it worse

Mine was extra whiney today, too. Must be a Wednesday thing lol

Boys are in bed, DD is washing the supper dishes, animals are tucked in for the night, and DH and I are going to watch a movie.

She is finally asleep. Fought it too. I yelled at her "just go to sleep!!" and she cried really hard I just had such a hard day with her and then had a hard time getting her to sleep. Now I am drinking wine. I hope she sleeps at least 3 hours.

I weighed in tonight at weight watchers, down 2.4lbs this week for a total of 10.2lbs since the beginning of september!!! Yay!

Rachel, i had pretty much exactly the same day as you hun. Harry didnt go to bed until 10pm last night, and was fighting it since 6pm. I put him in his stroller and went for a walk in the end, i was ready to just snap. Huge hugs hun, lets hope we both have a better day!

HUGE congrats on your loss! thats fantastic! I started at the same weight as you in march this year, 260lbs was my prebaby weight. I'm down to 236lbs since. Its slow going but it all adds up! i'm hoping for 220lbs by christmas. I have never lost this much weight before!

Awww, Rachel, I've done that before. Sometimes you just have one of those days and by bedtime, you can't take it anymore. Glad you had some wine!

And a bat in the house... OMG when I was younger, we had 3 bats in our house on 3 different occasions. I had crazy nightmares/fears about them for awhile. *shudder*

Need to start packing today for our trip. And do some cleaning because I don't want to come back to a dirty house!

Ok, so the first step of our sleep solution program is to do a night of sleep logs. Would you like to see what her night looked like last night? And not a word of a lie, this is one of the best nights in a long time.

7:40 asleep
Up 10:16 asleep 10:27
Up 12:42 asleep 1am
Up 2:52 asleep 3:15
Up 5am asleep 5:10
Up 6am asleep 6:10
Up for day at 7

Tonight our program begins. Slow and steady is what her "mantra" is. Small, gentle changes with lasting effect. I hope so, because I have been doing this for over a year and I am ready to snap.

Thanks for the congrats ladies! I am really pleased with my weight loss so far.

She wants to nurse. I have always nursed her to sleep- and we usually co-sleep as well. She is so wakeful I get the most rest when I just switch what side she is on when she wakes and go back to sleep. The problem is my back gets sore from laying in awkward positions.

I know most of it is my fault- the nursing her to sleep all the time she has such a deep rooted suck to sleep association. She has always been a fairly difficult baby though, never took a paci or anything and I just did what was easiest at the time. I am at the point now where I am exhausted but to make a change will require effort and take longer to put her to sleep. Something that is a big pill to swallow when you are so tired.

The biggest thing is going to be getting rid of her suck to sleep association.

Squeakers woke up at 3 am this morning!! She NEVER does that! So from 3 until 7 am she was in our bed and nursed the WHOLE time. I finally just said "ok that's enough time to get up" and got up for the day.

My friend came up for about 2 hours and we drank coffee and chatted. Then I was getting laundry rotated and finding clothes for the kids so I could run errands, but Father in law showed up. He wants to talk to my dad about some coins he has. So I had coffee with my FIL. Then I had to run to the store, because I was out of eggs and I have orders to get baked up, so FIL asked if he could ride along, which worked out great because BOTH kids fell asleep in the car and FIL sat in the car with them while I did a quick shopping. Ended up needing to go to 2 stores to get everything since the first store was sold out of eggs.

Got home, made a quick lunch of taco salads for me and the kids. They've been SO quiet since getting up from their naps! My son is sitting at the table sorting his m&m's into like colors and Squeakers just finished her taco salad.

It's been a pretty good day.
