so this year im doing each kid a big gift and then a few smaller ones, Raianna is getting a cell phone, Elyse is getting an MP3 player and I am not sure yet on Frankie and Helena

but for Helena I was thinking maybe this??

ohhh and what kind of big gift can you get for a 15year old girl?? she has a cell phone and an ipod and every other gadget known to man...so what on earth can i get her that she will love?

For my 15 yr old SD we are doing a pandora charm bracelet. That way we can add charms to it for future gifts. She loves jewelry.

Love the learning pad, we got one for Hailey on her birthday and she LOVES it. They are so nice and the games and learning tricks it teaches are great. As for the ring, LOVE it. Very pretty and grown up.

Well, that tablet does have good reviews on amazon, but while I was skimming I noticed that someone mentioned it eats batteries. If you buy an AC adapter, it does not charge it just powers it. I would definately include the power adapter and plenty of rechargeable batteries.

That ring is cute. My mom got me a birthstone ring for my 16th birthday, and I still have it and wear it occasionally. I would wear it more often if it were not big now.

My other ideas that come to mind are :
a nice purse.. my 19yo SIL loves Vera Bradley and some of the smaller Dooney and Burke bags are reasonably priced.
good makeup ... Ulta has alot of sales on things like the Urban Decay palettes
I know it's not a "gift" but sometimes with teenagers cash/gift cards are really the way to go.

Great ideas! I think the birthstone ring is an especially good idea for a 15 year old. Very grown-up.
