Love the learning pad, we got one for Hailey on her birthday and she LOVES it. They are so nice and the games and learning tricks it teaches are great. As for the ring, LOVE it. Very pretty and grown up.
Well, that tablet does have good reviews on amazon, but while I was skimming I noticed that someone mentioned it eats batteries. If you buy an AC adapter, it does not charge it just powers it. I would definately include the power adapter and plenty of rechargeable batteries.
That ring is cute. My mom got me a birthstone ring for my 16th birthday, and I still have it and wear it occasionally. I would wear it more often if it were not big now.
My other ideas that come to mind are :
a nice purse.. my 19yo SIL loves Vera Bradley and some of the smaller Dooney and Burke bags are reasonably priced.
good makeup ... Ulta has alot of sales on things like the Urban Decay palettes
I know it's not a "gift" but sometimes with teenagers cash/gift cards are really the way to go.
