There are no targets close to us, so our only options are Walmart. I've been to a Target once maybe twice, and thought it was a nice enough store, but priced high.

Walmart. I like target, but rarely go there as it is more expensive.

I like the stuff at Target better but it is bad news because it makes me want to buy things I really don't need and things are usually more expensive there compared to Walmart. These days, Walmart is a better bet for me in staying in our budget.

Target all the way. You will never see me step foot in a walmart, lol. I can not stand the workers (the two I have been to were HORRID!) the ONE open lane out of 40 and they always have huge messes in the middle of the isles to restock things. I would rather spend the extra 10 cents more at target on something than have to deal with the walmart crap.

Target, hands down. Target has such cute stuff - home decor, shoes, purses, etc. Yes, Walmart has lower prices but their employees are often rude, the store is always crazy crowded, so if I can help it, I try not to shop there.

Yeah ditto.
Not meaning to offend, but OUR Walmart (I know this is not ALL of them) are filled with the most scummy people of our city. I do go in sometimes, it's right next to our grocery store. So when I need something, I'll run in. But, it's crappy there.

Target. Our Walmarts here are terrible too. If you go after around noon you might get robbed. It seems like all the weirdos out here are there everytime I've ever gone. I actually banned our family from going there, lol. I think the final straw was last time we were there it smelled strong of vomit and seemed to be all through the whole store. Hmm....vomit, shoplifters, drug addicts ( I can so tell on some of the people, sorry). No thank you!!

I love Target! We do our weekly shopping at Walmart, though.

We go to Wal-Mart, my husband is one of the higher mangers at the one here so everyone knows me. Also they keep it clean and nice, it is sad to say but some areas they need to quit building more Wal-Marts and go in and fixes some of the older ones.

I use to work at Target and after seeing what happens behind close doors I don't think I will ever go back to shopping there.

My town only has a Walmart. And its only a few years old so it is pretty nice.

I LOVE doing the price matching there so I do most of our grocery shopping there. Just bring in the flyers I get in the mail from all the grocery stores in our town and the nearby ones and they honor all those sales! Its nice and saves me a ton!

I adore Target, but is is more expensive than Walmart. Some of the Walmarts we shop at are just as nice as Target, especially the one by our old house (down here most are pretty crappy, and there are a couple we refuse to go to). I think it just depends on where you live. Kwim? The Walmart in the nicer part of Branson is REALLY nice!! It is just like the one we used to live next to. I like some of the products at Target better, though, like their makeup remover wipes, and their clothing. I also love their kitchen stuff. Otherwise, I can get the exact same stuff at Walmart for a lower price.

i used to work at target and i never had any issues or any behind the scenes issues they were wonderful to me...i was one of the first ones they hired knowing i was 4 months pregnant and may not be coming back to work after i had the baby....and my highest manager took me home one day cause i was blacking out (high blood pressure) and she sure was adamant on wanting to bring me to the hospital but i told her to just bring me home instead....they were sooooo good to me! even after i had to quit because of pre-e

not to mention nebraska is a right to work state so they did NOT have to hire me and they could have fired me at any time due to any pregnancy issues
