casn of soda, juice boxes or bottles of water? Do you find that there is more waste when you buy them in individual servings?

Nothing drives me more crazy than to see half full water bottles and juice boxes on the counter, it's so wasteful. I buy it like that because it's easy for snacks and lunches but I hate the waste.

The only thing I buy is juice boxes really...and that is only for the kid's school lunches or I will buy the smaller sized water bottles for that as well. And the water bottles I will tell the kids to keep and rinse them out and reuse them for the next day saves some money that way too.

I know, I try to use the plastic reusable water bottles most of the time. t's the juice boxes and cans of soda that end up full and I have to dump, my dh is guilty of the soda cans.

DH has to have cans of coke, and yes I find more than a few half full ... its annoying. I would rather he got bottles because at least he could put the cap back on and put them back in the fridge..

I totally prefer bottles. I've been marking names on the water bottles and putting them back in the fridge, but it's impossible to watch every ones every move...lol.

As for the cans, yes dh prefers them as well. I get so annoyed, I feel like pouring all the cans into one jug and having him drink that before he opens a new one...lol. I don't know why it's annoying me so much today, maybe because I had like 3 of them on the counter this am..haha

We don't drink soda, so no to that.
And we don't really drink juice. The only juice we drink is the ones I use in/for smoothies (like apple juice) and I get a big jug.
I don't buy water bottles, because I don't like all the plastic. We have a filter on our faucet so we have yummy water. DH and Alexis just use glass cups. I have a refillable metal thermos thing I use.
So no waste here- and yes, that would drive me insane!

I don't buy cans of soda because they wouldn't be drank. But I do buy juice boxes, apple juice for Harvey, and he mainly drinks it all so there isn't much waste. I use a water bottle and just drink from it throughout the day so no waste there either. It drives me crazy when things go to waste!!

Dh has cans of coke for work, he drinks it all at lunch time so no waste.

I dont buy anything else. Jake and harry have reusable water bottles that i just fill from the tap. I give them some squash (a concentrated juice thing, talked about it on here before and you guys in the US didnt know what it was!) sometimes, that comes in a big bottle but it lasts for months without going off, so again, no waste.

We have cans of soda, thats what DH and I drink. He leaves very few empty and yes, its annoying but its what happens when you fall asleep at the blink of an eye and the ones that are empty usually are so cuz they fell out of his sleeping hands and I didnt grab fast enough LOL.

Dont do juice boxes and water we keep in a small plastic bottle in the fridge but its tap water just keep it in there to get cold cuz the boys prefer it that way.

We buy about 4 cases of bottled water a month. I think tap water tastes gross so that is the only way I will drink it. We do buy cans of soda like every few months. We really do not drink it. I do plan to buy juice boxes once Drake is old enough to drink them.

We buy cans of club soda because that is what DH and I drink. We find that the big bottles go flat too fast.

I only buy bottles of water for a special occasion -- like a party.

My husband drinks a lot of canned soda! He doesn't like the bottles because they go flat faster. He leaves at least one soda half full everyday. I don't pay for them, but it drives me nuts! When they are empty, we smash the cans and give them to his mom to take for recycling.

When I buy juice boxes/Capri Suns, I make my kids finish them. They dont usually get them. When we go to the In-laws house, they have a drawer in the fridge of Capri Sun and the kids help them selves and I notice they sit area more there. To busy playing maybe?

We don't really buy juice or pop. We buy the big bottles of water and put it on a water cooler. When we leave the house we use re-fillable water bottles.

I buy all three of those. We only like soda in the can if we have one (rare) I prefer capri sun since its easier and I even buy chocolate milk in boxes, lol. No one wastes them here though. I do buy bottled water as well because I wont drink tap water where we live, yuck!

We don't drink a lot of pop, but we always buy it in cans. It just doesn't taste the same any other way.

Only occasionally if we grab something at the checkout counter. We generally just drink water at home. We keep cold water in a pitcher in the fridge, so no bottles either.

We don't do juice boxes unless they're on sale REALLY cheap, actually we don't buy juice much at all. We each have refillable water bottles so unless we forget them, we don't do bottled water either. I don't have to worry about lunches since we homeschool, but back when my oldest two were in daycare I did use juice boxes because it was so much easier.

We buy soda in cans, b/c I don't like the way it tastes in the 2 liter bottle once it starts to go flat. I also don't drink it often enough to warrant a 2 liter, b/c I would waste a ton more that way. We don't buy juice anymore, but when we did we just bought the big bottles, and I only buy bottled water when we are on a road trip b/c I prefer the taste of tap water over bottled.
