I'm starting to plan DD's birthday party. She will be 8 on April 8th but doing the party more towards the end of the month in hopes it will be nicer outside. She wants a carnival theme. Depending on how many children from her class show up, I will probably have around 30 kids, plus adults. I have access to a cotton candy maker and a snow cone maker. The carnival games I've found on amazon and in oriental trading do not look like they are worth the money. I will definitely be DIY-ing most of the stuff, but I need ideas.

Anyone want to help?

My sister did a carnival theme for her son's 2nd birthday. She had a ball toss, where she got gold fish and those little vases from michaels, it was fairly cheap. Every kid got three balls and had to get it in the glass with the fish to win the fish. She had a bounce house, cotton candy maker, popcorn machine, candy apples, a bean bag toss. Oh and to play the carnival games, she made a ticket booth out of card board and everyone had to get in line to get a ticket first.

I am on pinterest, I just haven't had much time to look on there. Yesterday I did find paper products for 20 for under $20. It was just plain colors but the paper stuff can be so expensive.

My friend did a carnival theme for her DDs 3 birthday. We made the goodie bags full of candy, stickers and bracelets and put them in a popcorn container from the dollar store. Face painting was also a big hit.
