DOG!!! ugh!! well Beau started coughing yesterday on and off throughout the day....at midnight I really couldn't take it anymore so I took him to the vet as he was also hacking up clear liquid/foam....he has had all his shots...so I really didn't know what to think....the vet thinks its either irritation...like from his bone he had scratched his throat (which I think is most likely) or kennel cough (but like I said he has been vaccinated and he has not been kenneled with other dogs he has been in a foster home and then ours) but she said that the stress of the move from the foster home could have put his immune system at risk and still contracted kennel cough (or some sort of variation of that) due to stress....sooooo he is on some antibiotics just in case and they gave him some cough meds as well....and I will bring him back to the vet tomorrow (already had that scheduled anyways just last night I was not willing to wait til monday lol) hopefully he stops coughing though! poor thing...I feel so bad...not to mention I am exhausted and so is he....he didn't sleep last night either....and if it is kennel cough I hope Cali does not get it as she hasn't got her vaccine for that yet (she was going in tomorrow to get it! great timing eh?)

Poor puppy. Pets can be just like infants sometimes. I hope you both get some sleep.
