I was 13, turning 14 in July. I started 9th grade that fall. I had a boyfriend named Bill in 9th grade. We were together for most of high school. I was definitely a stupid teenager too. I spent most of that summer hanging out with my friend, her boyfriend and some of their other friends. My friend just graduated and her boyfriend was over 21! I sometimes wonder if my mom even realized how old they were.

Ummm 1999...twas the year I turned 27 and I was working full time and living in an apartment with a friend(who turned out to be not so good a friend)in San Antonio. Hanging with friends occasionally and enjoying things mostly.
No kids, no boyfriend. Roommate had a boyfriend and two kids tho.

She was going through chemo for cancer that was discovered after we'd moved to Texas. I tended to her two kids a lot when she needed to rest. Her boyfriend came over after his work and hung out with her so I was pretty much alone even tho there were others in the house LOL.

That was my life...work, helped roommate, worked some more. Occasionally went out with friend to a bar she preferred.

1999 - I was turning 27yo. I had been married almost 3 years. I was living in AIL and UIL's house for part of the year in TX and in our own apt. in IN for part of the year.

No kids!

I was 22. DH and I had been married four years. He finished tech school, we moved from Oklahoma to S. Carolina, and our third baby was born. I remember watching the ball drop at the end of '99, laughing at all the Y2K people who were expecting "the grid" to fail and modern life to come to a halt!

That was a kind boring year for me lol. I was 14, doing my school work (homeschooled) and "working" - babysitting my nieces, since I was home I got paid nothing to watch everyone's kids while they worked lol. I met my DH that year, that was the highlight =)

1999 I was 26. New years eve from 1999-2000 I spent on my mom's couch sick with the terrible flu that was going around then. My 2yo dd(1) was curled up by my head and we watched the ball drop. Thankfully dd(1) did not get sick.

I was 31... divorced with two kids. My kids turned 11 and 3 in 1999.

I worked from home as an assistant for a company that made boxes and plastic bags. My work was dropped off to me by a carrier on Monday mornings and was picked up by a carrier on Thursday nights. I also watched a little boy during the day while his mom worked.

At the beginning of the year I dated a guy named LawnBoy (every guy I dated had a nickname, it was easier for my friends to keep track). By the end of the year I was in love with a guy who lived 400 miles away. His mom was one of my best friends. He was in his mid-twenties and was freaking gorgeous. We spent every other weekend together (when my kids were with their dad) and new years eve together. *sigh* It was an amazing romance.

At the end of 1999 I was diagnosed with Lupus. That sucked.

I was 14 and started high school. That was probably the worst year for me as far as bullying, so not a year I care to remember.

In 1999 I was 9 years old and honestly, I don't remember too much about what life was like for me back then. Nothing exciting/interesting must have happened or else it would have stood out for me.

I had been married for a year. DH bought me a diamond necklace for our first anniversary and we had a fabulous weekend getaway. We were DINKs and both had good jobs with fairly high salaries. We moved into our first brand new house in May of that year.

An interesting fact: My long time high school sweetheart and I had planned to get married in 1999. He was heartbroken that I was happily married to someone else.

I turned 28 in 1999.
