Here in my house...it sure feels like a Monday...normally I wake the kids up at 6:30 they get dressed do their hair and are down to breakfast by 7....to leave the house at 726.....well this morning it was nothing but bickering and Helena I had to go up and get out her socks tell her to get them on and mind you this was at 715!!!!! she was just upstairs PLAYING all morning...not a care in the world...so she had no time for cereal...just a cereal bar...she was not happy about that...too bad so sad...ugh! so glad they are off to school now!!
We had a snow day yesterday so today totally felt like a Monday!
My teenage daughter gets a ride to school 3 times a week. Her friend has softball practice on the other two days.
This morning, the teenager popped her head in my room and told me her friend never picked her up and she was too late for the bus. I was pretty angry because it is her responsibility to get herself to school. I told her she couldn't go to school because I was not getting up and driving her in the snow.
yeah it was okay....this morning was shaping up to be like yesterday but I nipped that one in the butt real quick...telling the kids "this morning WILL NOT be like yesterday" lol they shut their traps LOL
