Were due with number 3 May 27th but my babies come early so it could be sooner. I figure max i have about 8 weeks left. So we booked a night away for the end of March. Im not cleared for travel so were only going a few towns over but were spoiling ourselves with a nice dinner and some shopping.

How often do you and your SO go away? Do you do long trips or just a night or 2?

We average about once a year and its usually 2 nights long.

We're pretty particular about who watches our kids. Right now we're living in an area where we don't have anybody to trade dates with or watch the kids overnight. So the husband and I aren't able to get away for a night.
Maybe when the oldest are teens.

we have a date night every month, but the only night we've been away from Audrey all night was our 1 year wedding anniversary... and tonight is my first night away from her without DH being here..
DH doesn't like being away from her for too long since he's gone half the month already

Well we went to Cabo San Lucas last October (for about a week)......We've been married 8 years this year so...... Once every 8 years???? He did text me last night and "threaten" a trip to Cancun....*fingers crossed*

Depends on when my mom visits, we used to get 2 date nights a year (summer and Christmas) - we just go out for dinner, spend a few hours talking. But with the cost of flights lately it's only been once a year. This year it was at Christmas and we were gone about 3 hours, had some lobster and it was nice! I look forward to next Christmas for our next date lol!

Before the little kids came, we traveled almost every other weekend. Back then, DH worked for a major airlines and it was easy to go.

However, since the littles were born we hardly get away which is REALLY REALLY sad because we have a 24 year old, a 16 year old and my step-daughter is 13. We haven't had a night away in 8 years. We tried exactly a year ago tomorrow but our little guy had an anxiety attack so we had to come home early.

We went to dinner, just the two of us for our Anniversary last month. Before that, it had been about 6 months since we had a night out without kids.

We haven't had an overnight away from Avery yet, and I am not sure when we will. I am just not comfortable leaving her overnight yet. We do go on dates every month or two though.

I am thinking about taking a trip to vegas for 3 days this summer and leaving Avery, but I just don't know.

We are pretty lucky, MIL lives down the road and will watch the kids any time we ask her too. So we get date nights maybe 2-3 times a month. She only has weekends off and we try not to ask her to often to watch all 3 over night. The last time was in February for 3 days/ 2 nights.

My mom has in the passed come up and watched the kids for a week. Last time was last May for our Anniversary and we were gone 4 days I think. Before that was May 2011 when we went to Vegas and she watched them for a week.

We dont have any big plans this year (thus far)

I am home with my kids every night. I go out on dates with hubby, but we sleep at home. I have been away from my eldest son, while I was in the hospital for a few days to deliver my 2nd son. He has also spent the night with his godmother one night, but that is it. My kids are 5yo and 2.5yo. My kids both have food allergies and epi pens. My 5yo has Autism.
