yes! two speeding tickets, I was able to get out of one though, when I went to the police station I wore my cheerleading outfit and they dropped it for "school spirit" haha the other I got from a highway patrol man, he had a speed trap set up on the backroad I took to school, there was getting out of it I was doing like 70 in a 55
and since then I've only gotten one ticket, a few months ago I got a failure to come to a complete stop before turning at a red light from one of those traffic light cams.
I have had one...that was dismissed because I took that stupid class LOL this was just after we moved into this house....I had just gotten over the stomach flu...so that on top of being tired and worn out and not knowing that the speed limit was 55 not 60 (was going 65) yeah....not fun...and the troopers out here are no joke LOL....I probably could have gotten out of it all together but I dunno trying to get my way out of it felt wrong haha...I dunno....and that is the only one I have ever had and the only one I ever plan on getting...ever...LOL
Yes! My first one was in 1985. I was driving 74 in a 25. My court date was the day before Christmas Eve. I showed up with my boyfriend, dressed court appropriate, and was told to pay a $25 fine because the judge was in the holiday spirit and I was "dressed to impress". I was also 17 and pretty freaking adorable... and I cried a little.
I got another one for not having my son buckled in his car seat. It was 1996. I was 3 months pregnant with terrible morning sickness. I needed to throw up. I asked my then 7 year old son to unbuckle and hand me a bag and then buckle back up. The cop spotted me just as he was bouncing back up after handing me the bag. He pulled me over as I was getting sick. He was a total a-hole and gave me a ticket anyway. I went to court, told the judge exactly what happened and the judge let me go without paying a fine and yelled at the cop. It was a glorious day.
I think that is all. Just two in my almost 29 years of driving.
Also almost got a ticket for a dirty liscense plate a couple years ago. I live on a dirt road and it was a very muddy week in March. The citified cop didn't get it that my plate was clean when I left my house but was completely covered by the time I got to town.
