I went to the doctor's this past Friday and it wasn't exactly what I expected since they didn't do blood work or anything. The doctor said I have high blood pressure and high heart rate/palpitations. She put me on meds to lower both for a week then I have to go back in. I already knew I had heart palpitations and I still have them. I know I have an over reactive thyroid but the doctor has to see it on a blood test.
On Friday I have to go to a larger hospital to get blood tests to check my thyroid, anxiety, etc. My MIL is taking me because it's on a walk-in basis and only in the morning. I hate getting my blood drawn.
On a side note, I told my niece and nephews' dad that I don't appreciate him just showing up when he wants. I had enough of it. He makes me so angry. My Sil said he would be dropping my niece off at 8:30. He didn't show up til 11:30. I was gonna tell him more but there were little ears around.
I'm sorry about all the tests. Hopefully, they find a solution.
As for the father of your niece and nephew. I would tell him that if he brings the kids over on a day that you've been told you're not watching them, then he needs to be prepared to pay for your babysitting services. It's not fair to you that you're told you can plan something else and then he brings them over because he's tired of them. My guess is that if you tell him that, he'll stop bringing them over, but if not, at least you'll get paid for watching them that day.
