We've been camping about twice each summer since my daughter was born and we like it. My daughter loves it, especially when we go with my family and she can hang out with her cousins and ride the boat.
The only thing I find stressful about it is packing - making sure I don't forget anything. And the older I get, and especially when I'm pregnant, I'm getting picky about using outhouses - I think I only want the modern campgrounds from now on, especially when my daughter is fully potty trained. If momma doesn't want to use a nasty outhouse, how do I get her do use it? haha
We haven't gotten to go camping yet. My family and I went once when Mehkie was only a few months old and she enjoyed it as much as a teeny baby can but we haven't gone since then although we do talk about it a lot. Hopefully soon.
My kids LOVE it We haven't been able to go this year (husband lives in another state for work) but we are hoping we might sneak in at least a short trip before the cold hits. Even if its just one night, they will be happy. It can be a little stressful for me because all three the kids are let loose upon the world and I'm trying to keep track of them and keep them entertained but the husband does pretty much all the cooking and cleaning so that's nice
