I keep debating starting, but I try to stick to my 45-days rule which means I can't decorate more than 45 days in advance of a holiday. Of course, if DH is gone next week ... what he doesn't know won't hurt him
I can't wait any longer...I'm starting this weekend. I act like such a kid around Christmas...it's my favorite time of the year. I'm trying to have self-control and not pull out all the Christmas music just yet!!!
We do the day after Thanksgiving too, Rayanne! It's a tradition for our family as well
I'm a huge Christmas person and go all out on the house, inside and out. We go and get the tree that morning and then I'll shoo Jon outside to start putting up our outdoor lights and decor (which he is always SO thrilled about, lol).
My tree (and other stuff) does not go up until AFTER Thanksgiving. Usually the weekend after T-day or the first week of December.
On my way to class last night, I noticed someone already had their Christmas tree up and lit in the window I love Thanksgiving too much to let it be overshadowed by the overcommercialized holiday Christmas has become...
After Thanksgiving. As much as I love Christmas, I also love Thanksgiving, and hate to see it lost in the shuffle!!
This year we're going into New York to see the Christmas Show at Radio City. I can't wait!! I finally got smart and asked for the tickets for my birthday in October. That's December 8... it will make it feel like the Christmas season has started!
