Hobbies, crafts or books...

What do you do to help you relax, unwind during your along time?
When do you find the best time for you to take your "Mommy Time Out"?

Right now, the best way for me to get "me" time is to get up before the children are awake. I set an alarm for 6, and that gives me about an hour, sometimes two, to begin my day in peace and quiet. I make sure to get to bed on time at 11:00 so that I can handle the early wake-up.

I plan my "me" time when my youngest is napping, usually right after lunch. If it's been a crazy day and I need some peace and quiet, I get the older kids to have quiet time, during which they look at books quietly for half an hour. Then I can go on the computer or write in my journal by myself.

After they are in bed sometimes a bubble bath is a great way to relax! Take a book with you and a chocolate bar! LOL
