I am not going to put the whole article on here since I am not sure of Ivillages copyright rules but the link is above and I will post below the four topics discussed/
1. Feel Proud of What You Do
2. Keep in Touch with Friends
3. Get Organized
4. Get in Touch with Your Creative Side
Yes I think all of these have been touched on before BUT it is so important to remember some of these. Taking pride in what you do everyday can help make your life a bit more fullfilling. Keeping in touch with the outside world in some way thru friendships is very important otherwise we tend to lose ourselves in kids and housework. Organization well it may not be the easiest thing for some of us (if you could see my house you would know why I say that LOL) but some kind of organization of appointments, activites and other things is important. That way noone gets left at soccer practice because DH thought you were picking the little one up, and you thought DH was doing it.
Finally keep doing things for yourself, be it crosstitch (Jaime LOL) learning something new by reading or taking a class (me, Heidi LOL) or just painting a fingerpaint picture with the little one. It gives you something to be your outlet, your way to shut out the world at large and just do for you.
