What great tips! My eldest daughter was pretty scared of public bathrooms when she started training. We always made sure that we had our insert with us and only used toilets with manual flushes... she was so scared of the automatic ones. I think the article makes a great point about treating it as a fear of your child's not as a misbehavior!

I agree, great tips! My son isn't potty training age but I've got issues with public restrooms and was wondering how I will approach this.
