I know I have definitely learned a lot from my mother. And although she isn't perfect, she is a great mother. Eventhough I'm not a mom yet, I know I learned from one of the best and I hope I can be as great to my kids as she was to my sister and I.

I wonder a lot what kind of dad my husband will be. His dad wasn't around much during his childhood, because he worked all the time so they never really formed a bond. His mom is just kind of, crazy, and from my understanding she always was. I don't think she was that great of a role-model "parenting" wise. My husband is a teacher though, so I know he is patient and caring. I guess we'll just wait and see!
