According to a new report from the CDC, the teen birth rate has gone up for the first time in 14 years. The teen birth rate rose from 40.5 live births per 1,000 females aged 15-19 years in 2005 to 41.9 births per 1,000 in 2006. This is a 3 percent increase and the first increase in teen births since 1991.
im 17 and pregnant. i think that no teenager should try to get pregnant. if it happens, it happens. but dont try to do it. ours was a accident but were happy. but if anyone is having sex, they should be on birth control. you dont even have to tell your parents. you can go to planned parenthood. if its that uncomfortable, talk to a friend and they can go with you. but kids tring to get pregnant are crazy. im finishing high school. im doing night school the second half but im still doing it. after you have the baby and your going to work you will need something to fall back on, not just good looks. pregnancy is a wonderful thing. but girls trying shouldnt. finishing school is the best thing to do. its hard to do pregnant. im very happy and excited for our baby and wouldnt change anything. but dont try. and use birth control. the patch is the best thing. you wont forget to take it every day and it works. just the same.
