Not only is this poorly written (the grammar is atrocious), it is really one-sided. It's obvious the writer feels that holding your baby too much can spoil her. What are her credentials that make her an expert on this subject anyway? I think a less biased and better written article would be much more interesting and helpful.

This was not really worth the time it took to read. It sounded like she was bashing on AP parents and saying hey I did a great job look at my kid.

All children have different personalitys and need different things from their caregivers. As a new mom I think you should do what feels right. Not what some online write up or *whoever* says to do.

definatly agree with ashley, think it all goes back to bowlbys attachment theory. basically your baby needs to know it has a "secure base" which is loving mammy to come back to to be able to go and explore their envoirnment and the outside world. attachment theory definatly worth a look.
