I actually have 4 sets of twins in my family. My grandma had 2 sets of twins. My mom's twin had twins. Then, one of those twins just had twins. All of the twins were identical and girls!

The family history leads to twins but not sure if I am having twins or not as I'm only 7 weeks and one day but will find out on Thursday as I've got my first ultrasound :-) can't wait

I had twins and didn't know until I had my ultrasound on the 5th month. But from my experience, if you feel a kick on one side of your tummy and you feel another one on the other side within a few minutes, then there's a very big possibility that you're having twins

I think having twins would be one of the most unique experience. Not everyone is lucky to have twins though. Everyone I know who are twins or had twins feel blessed and happy.

Fraternal twins are hereditary because they are caused when a woman releases 2 eggs. The "ablility" to release more than one egg could be passed from one generation to the next (herediatry.) On the other hand, identical twins happen when the fertilized egg splits. It's a totally random thing. Nothing you can do will cause the egg to split, so it's not hereditary.
