FSH, or follicle stimulating hormone, is one of the most important hormones in a woman's reproductive health. Follicle stimulating hormone, as the name suggests, stimulates the female ovaries to produce a mature egg for fertilization. Measuring a woman's FSH levels can give doctors an indication of the quality of eggs a woman has as well as her chances of having a successful pregnancy.

I was 35 and my FSH was 52. My doctor told me that I would not be able to have any more children. I was heartbroken. I got pregnant two months later but sadly miscarried. Six months later, I became pregnant again, and I am happy to say that i carried that precious baby to term. He is a happy, healthy two year old. I give thanks to God and never let my OB forget how wrong he was I write this to give hope to those who find themselves in the same position I was in two years ago - wanting another baby but being told it was impossible!

First time, i got pregnant naturally and my doctor terminated it in second month saying that there no pulse, it is being a year, we gave a gap of 6 months and after that i have been taking medicines to confirm my pregnancy, but there is no result doctor have done different tests and every test shows normal, then doctor advised my husband to go for semen test in which count showed less %, after using medicines count improved upto 110mill, still he is using medicines, in doppler study test result showed grade one instead of that the result is improvement in count,
but i'm not able to conceive till date though we are trying every month. My query is whether the problem is with me or my husband.

Hi,

I am facing same problem and Dr referring me to fertility center. My FSH is high 66.1.
What kind of treatment you took to decrease FSH level? Did you take any treatment? Did you conceive natural pregnancy? Can you give me your number? I have hope from your comments.

Thanks
