[Mama of M.A.C]

MAC just turned 3 months. Most of the time MAC sleeps in my bed. I lay him down in his crib after he has fallen asleep,at night. 4hrs later he wakes,eats and wants to sleep with me! I have heard that I should train him now to sleep by himself, so later on I he wont linger in my bed all night...
Mac also NEEDS to be rocked,or fed to sleep....im trying a nightly bath routine, but he still needs to be rocked and held.
I dont know where to start....any advice, experance, comments????

I guess it's all a choice. I co-slept with both of my kids - still co-sleep with my 5 year old. My 9 year old, sleeps all night on her own & is a well adjusted kid. If you want your kids to sleep in a crib that's fine. Just don't feel that you have to.

I have more or less the same problem as Mama of M.A.C. My son has to be nursed or rocked to sleep, and he wakes up the second I put him down in his crib and will not go back to sleep, no matter how much patting or soothing I do. In order to get him to sleep at all, he has to be right next to me in bed, and again, nursed to sleep. I've tried white noise and I have a heartbeat sound for him and a mobile (not everything at once), but nothing seems to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
