Colic is a condition in which a baby starts to cry for extended periods of time, and often for no obvious reason (no fever, for example). The crying is a response to intense abdominal pain, and doctors use what they call the “Rule of Three” to help identify it.

My mom recommends eucalyptus oil. Apply a small amount on the baby's tummy.

I'll suggest babies magic tea to soothe newborns from colic and gas. It has soothing effects and contains no preservatives and alcohol, so very safe for newborns. I have used it for my baby and found great results.

Wow.. thank you for good ideas! I also heard that if your baby is nervous or crying just let your vacuum cleaner run and everything will stop immediately! Actually I tried this and it worked! I understood that that is the sound similar to the sounds in mom's womb :-)
