I don't know about teens, but my kids are younger and make HUGE messes all the time! In five minutes the house is wrecked! So I was thinking about it, and I remembered my mom using an egg-timer when I was little to turn cleaning into a quick game. But in this day and age my kids are a little more technologically savvy. So... I invented an app that does the exact same thing-- except that we can pick a reward before the timer starts,so that at the end--when the living room is toy-free, hopefully--our kids can shake the phone and their rewards will appear. I'm not a software developer or a corporation, or anything--so you know--I'm a mom. Anyway, here is a link to the website which will take you to the app: http://www.myatools.com/cleanupyourroom. My kids totally love it. And they are wild...seriously, two WILD boys BOTH under five. My three year old keeps asking me when he can pick up his toys again. Yep. LOL check the app out!!
