Did you keep track of your baby's movements during your pregnancy?

Did you notice your baby's movements slowing down somewhat shortly before going into labor?

While in labor, was baby very active, or was baby pretty quiet?

No, I wouldn't say I kept track of her movements. There were times when she was really active and I noticed it. But I didn't study it or anything.

I didn't really go into labor on my own. So it was business as usual up until my water broke. However, once it broke, I only remember feeling her move once at the hospital. I think she was confused by the change and decided to lay low. LOL

I had to do kick counts towards the end of my pregnancy because ultrasounds showed that the cord was around the baby's neck and she was already head down and engaged. SO they were concerned about the cord and scared me half to death. When she was born... the cord was NOT around her neck. I am still a little annoyed about that because I was terrified towards the end.

Leading up to labor... I didn't notice a decrease in her movements. I was induced 5 days before my due date so I don't think she was quite ready to come out.

She still moved quite a bit while I was in labor. I had the external monitors on my belly and you'd see my belly move since she was pushing at the monitors

Wow, that is scary! So glad she was okay.

Both of my kids moved less the last few days. With ds I was induced, but I really think I was only a day or two away from going into labor on my own anyway.

DD didn't move much at all in labor, DS moved a LOT early on, then he slowed down towards the end.

I didn't keep track of his movements. During labor, he was super active. The nurse couldn't believe how much he was moving around when she was trying to hook me/him up to the monitors.

I didn't do the kick count but made sure that there was movement each day.

the movement slowed down before labor began and it stopped during labor

I didn't really keep track of movements because it was hard to tell which baby was moving. I just know that there was a lot of movement...if there had been a really quiet day I probably would've gone in to make sure both babies were doing well.

And I honestly don't remember feeling them move once my water broke and I was admitted. But just hearing them on the monitor made me feel confident that they were doing well!!
