I was induced and from the time they began the induction to Owen's birth it was exactly 12 hours. They inserted the cervadil at 11pm and Owen was born 10:58am the next day

15 hours in total counting the 30 minutes I pushed her out in. Active labor was about 7 and a half hours.

Mine was 62 hours from the absolute beginning (bloody show and mild contractions). But it was only about 6 hours of "real labor." I can't say I really classified any of it as hard labor (except maybe the pushing).

With my first son, 19 1/2 hours of active labor and 1 1/2 hours of pushing.

With my second son, I was in PTL for seven weeks, then 11 hours of active labor, 10 minutes of pushing.

7 hours from the time they broke my water til I delivered him. The last 45 min or so they made me "wait" for the doctor to get there.... grr. I went in at 2cm and then they broke my water, and later started pitocin.

I wonder how fast or slow it will go this time!!

Geeeeezus... After reading all of your stories, I don't think I am normal... LOL

With my first pregnancy, I was 16.5 years old when I delivered my son. I was induced at 1pm and Alex made his arrival at 4:48pm that same day for a total labour/delivery of 3 hours and 48 minutes....

With my second pregnancy, I woke up at 5:55am with strong contractions and arrived at the hospital at 7:45am. After the nurses checked on me and told me that I was at 9cm, my water instantly broke and 15 minutes later, Gracie made her arrival.
Total labour/delivery was 2 hours and 8 minutes!

This time around, the midwife feels that I may not make it to the hospital and is preparing DH and I for a home-birth just in case we don't make it out of the house!

I don't even know where to really begin measuring, but from when my ctx where 3 minutes or less apart and I started leaking amniotic fluid to the time she was finally pushed out was nearly 19 and a half hours.

I was having lots of ctx before that, but they were all over the place.
