Did you or your SO shave you "down there" before labor?

I remember having Jaysen trim me up and shave what he could get to at about 37 weeks, so it wouldn't look totally like a jungle down there. He enjoyed doing it so much he still does it now that I'm not pregnant Men are so easy to amuse.

I could always reach my legs, to shave those, but there was no way I was reaching my crotch at 37 weeks.

I used a trimmer to trim, but didn't completely shave. I couldn't see anything, didn't trust myself trying to do it with a mirror and definitely didn't trust DH to do it! And in all honesty, he didn't trust himself doing it. I got a close enough trim that I was comfortable with it.

i had to trim up in the shower of my hospital room with an IV of mag and pitocin going...not an easy task! The midwife who was on call overnight wouldn't let me shower because I was on Mag..when the MW that delivered Brylie came in at 6am I was begging for a shower and she was in SHOCK That I hadn't been allowed to shower. So, Sam helped me balance while I used my razor and just kind of swiped it a few times..im sure it was super uneven, but I didn't feel like Mogli, the jungle cub anymore! I could still easily do it with the aid of a mirror, and I love my husband, but I don't love him enough to let him near my girly bits with anything sharp

Brian did it for me and he did a pretty good job too but then he thought that since he did that he should get to "test drive it" (his words) one more time before it was out of order for weeks

I don't ever have much. When finances allow, I am professionally waxed. When they don't, I use a trimmer and get off as much as possible. So when I went into labor, I didn't have any more than I normally do.

^ I don't usually...when DH decides he wants a different view he gets to do it himself, lol. I do remember wanting to get the shagginess out of the way for labor

Ok, my DH nicks his own face shaving.. you think I'd let him near there???! That being said, I think I trimmed a few days before a little bit, but didn't all out shave. It was more for my own comfort though...I dont like it out of control and I could careless what everyone saw in labor.

I wasn't that huge with my second DD actually, I trimmed as much as I could myself with the mirror.
