did you use it?

My daughter got a quilt (all NICU babies do at my hospital), a swaddle/sleep sack combo, basic bath supplies, and a book. They don't give formula unless you specifically ask for it.

They gave me a bunch of disposable quality (you wouldn't want to reuse them a whole bunch of times) milk storage bottles because I had been pumping for my daughter. Plus basics like pads, peri bottle, tucks.

My son got two books from the NICU going home coordinator.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something...

I wouldn't call them 'gifts' since they bill insurance for them but we got several 2oz bottles of ready to feed formula, diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, a receiving blanket, and it seems like a few more things. We did get a book that I would more consider a gift and then we got the Similac diaper bag with samples too.

my hospital got rid of formula bags, which I am glad about! I would have been tempted for FF I think and I really love BF'ing

We got a cute little white hat (from the NICU, since they came but didn't take her fortunately) and a silver spoon from the midwife who delievered her. She also got a onsie that says "My momma rocked her natural childbirth" on the front and on the back it says "UNMC TEAM MIDWIVES" (so cute ) we got the normal johnson & johnson bath kit which I left there for them to give to someone else, because we don't use PG products and we also got diapers and wipes (a big box full, like the 100-whatever count) of diapers and I think other crap too...I don't even remember, there was so much!

We got:

4-5 2 oz. bottles of formula
a small package of diapers
a diaper bag that had coupons and a small can of formula

I think that was it. Nothing too spectacular.

I got:
several 2oz bottles of formula
several 2oz breast millk bottles (since I was pumping)
manual breast pump
pump accessories for the hospital pump I used while Stella was in the NICU
a bag (not a formula bag, just one from the hospital)
diapers
wipes
several receiving blankets

I used everything except for the manual breast pump. I ended up renting a hospital grade one.
I also got a silver spoon from my OB.
