Today I had my cervix checked, because my doctor wanted to check me to see if I would be able to be induced next week. (Only 4 days before my due date). He did the routine thing, very uncomfortable but this is my second one so I at least knew what to expect. I am over 38 weeks pregnant, and this one was a little different. Last time, I didn't hurt afterwords. This time, however, I am in tremendous amounts of pain and discomfort. My back is dull with pain at all times, and occasionally the pain shoots up and hurts bad and goes away. Also, between my legs is VERY sore. I've just overall felt very low energy and kind of sick all day. The exam was at 10am, it is now 6:30pm.
Also, two weeks ago the dr said I dropped, then this week he said, "Well, it feels like you dropped." I was really confused, did he forget? He said I was 3cm lower than last time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
