Where exactly is the baby in the birth canal when it's discovered that the head isn't able to exit the pelvis? Has the head started to crown? Is it even visible yet?
If I am not mistaken, I believe that the doctor can tell if the head is too big when it is hitting the pelvic bone, which is well before the baby crowns. I could be mistaken, let me do some research and I wil let you know
