Okay i'm not sure if this is where i'd ask this but.. I had my son a month and a couple days ago. He was 9 lbs, and afterwards i bled a lot and lost quite a bit of blood. I was to be taking iron pills because i hemmoraged. I stopped bleeding 2 weeks after that, I didn't have big clots in the blood. I stopped bleeding for 2 weeks now i believe i have got my period? It started sunday super light, by lastnight (wednesday) it began to get heavier. I've noticed big clots, probably the size of a walnut maybe bigger. I've had about 3 or 4 of them in the last 24 hours. I do feel kind of dizzy and i think it's because of me losing blood again. During the 2 weeks i didn't bleed i felt fine, now that i'm bleeding again i feel dizzy. I can't get in with my family dr till dec 8th. Just wondering if anyone experienced this. Is clotting normal in the first period after birth?

i dont think i had any clots after having my babies

espically bc you are getting dizzy i would try and call the on call doctor or nurse or go to the ER espically what you have went through with all the blood lose i wouldnt take any chances
