I am DEATHLY afraid of epidurals/needles. I've had 3 med free natural labors and plan to do the same thing il this time provided all goes well.

I would go natural if you can! I had an epidural due to an emergency c-section... I would not dilate.

I am leaning on getting the epidural because I want to have a good experience of labor and not get so scared of the experience that I don't want to do it again.

My husband wants me to get an epidural. He said his son was a decent size and he is worried for me, since I am petite.

I'm leaning toward an epidural (my husband wants me to get one) just because I don't want to be scared off by childbirth. So much so that I don't want to go through it again in case we want another child.
