What kind of birth experience did you have?
I wanted to open up a poll sorry if someone already did this I don't remember because I don't come around often. Just curious to see the results and feel free to talk about anything about your birthing experience here. Thanks ladies.

Vaginal Birth (medicated) That's the kind of birth experience I had.
Hoping to go 100% natural next time.

I had a natural vaginal birth without meds for my first in a hospital.
And my 2nd baby was a UC at home with me and DH catching little Remy.

My first was a vaginal birth in a hospital with an epidural and a couple of shots of Stadol. I did not react well to the Stadol though.
With this one, it will be (hopefully) vaginal and in the hospital with an epidural. Absolutely no other meds though!

I had a completely unmedicated and natural labor until I reached transition (the vast majority of a 22 hour labor). Then I got the epidural.
Natural labor was intense but awesome. I felt so invigorated and energized. Glad I got the epidural though as her head was at a bad angle and I had to push a long time with her - so the rest before pushing was very helpful.
My epidural was awesome too, could feel my legs and move them and lift them with no problems but had no actual pain. I could feel her head come out and I felt her sharp little shoulders slide out. As soon as my stitches were repaired I was up walking.
So I really feel I had the best of both worlds.

Lurker here, coming out of hiding. I had a natural vaginal birth with all 3 of my kids. My first was an induction.

Vaginal with epidural. Induced at 41 weeks. Started induction Wednesday @ 7 am. Got the epidural Thursday around 11 am, and delivered Thursday 10:57 pm after exactly 4 hours of pushing. Would do it again the same way (minus the 4 hr pushing session!)

I broke waters and was 2.5cm with no contractions, they started the induction at 11.30, I got to 7cm by 3pm but then she started to distress, so they upped the induction and i got an epidural incase we needed a c/section. At 4.45 I was at 10cm. I pushed for 9 minutes and she was born (with a little suction cap help) I think it was a great birth experience up to 7cm and next time I plan to get to 10cm med free (if the baby cooperates!!).

Vaginal with epidural. Great experience with no side effects. Labored for 11 hours pushed for 45 minutes. My son did have to be vac'd out because his head was WAY too big for me but he did it so quickly that he didnt end up with a cone head! I did have a 4th degree episiotomy but if you saw his head, you would understand! It healed very nicely.

Vaginal with an epidural that didn't work. Instead, my contractions stopped altogether and I required two episiotomies. My doctor was a fool; I don't even know how long I pushed, and my poor daughter had respiratory distress and needed to be in the NICU because of it all. I should have sued the crazywoman.
I found out later on from my new OBGYN that I should have had a c-section.

I voted Vaginal Birth (unmediated/ natural) which was my 2nd birth but my first was a C-section (unplanned) but I could not vote for both.

#1 ... Vaginal, medicated.
#2 ... Vaginal, medicated (didn't work). Contractions quit on me, but I bucked up and pushed him out with no help other than oxygen to help me breathe, as I was terrified to go under the knife for a c-section.
