So my boss is requesting that i make it official when my last day of work will be and when i will be coming back to work. I am due the 10th so i officially put my last day of work as being Feb 26th with a return date of June 1st well technically may 31st but i think that is memorial day next year. So i will be taking 13 weeks off. I am hoping to maybe just get a part time job so that way i can be a stay at home mom for a couple of months. Who knows.

Just curious as to what other working moms are doing.

February 11th 2006!!!! rofl That was the day I quit my last job (other than my current business but that is different) because the stress of it was hindering my ttcing and I knew I wanted to be a SAHM anyway.

Ironically I got pregnant a couple weeks later....

I took a weeks vacation from feb 7-13, I have a feeling this little guy will be showing up the 13th or 14th so if that is the case my last day at work will be either 2/5 or 2/6 depending on if I have to work weekends that rotation. I am going to try and take 12 weeks off but may have to go back in 8 depending on how they do STD at this job.

My last day will be February 12th as they will be doing my C-section February 19th and I want a week of rest beforehand.

The earliest my doc will do my section is Feb 26th. So, I will be off work a few days before then. If I go into labor before then, I hope to work up until I go into labor. But, a lot of twins go out at about 28 weeks. That's the week before Christmas.

If I can work up until I delivery, I will take 12 weeks off afterwards. If I got out early, I have to go back to work after 8 weeks.

Doesn't your boss realize that babies come when they want?? And, at 23 weeks, you can't tell when that's going to be??

I have never heard of a job doing this. I would have a HARD time being able to say. For heaven's sake Ds came three weeks early - I couldn't have known that then...and I won't know this time either. I also was off two weeks prior to delivery due to wicked, evil, evil, horrid hemorrhoids...LOL Seriously - every step felt like I was ripping open. Again, I could NOT have known that would happen. I don't know how you can ask this of a pg momma....

Well, last pregnancy it was at 26 weeks!!

Let's hope at least February with this one, we need to bank as much moolah as we can!

I'm glad my boss isn't making me tell her now! I guess it will depend how I am feeling. If I'm feeling great, I will work until I give birth. If working is too hard on me, I will probably stop around Feb 26th.

I'm due March 2nd, which is a Tuesday, and I'm *planning* to work until Friday, Feb 26th. I dont' know when/if I'll go back. DH is interviewing for faculty positions around the country and it will depend on when his new job starts. I'll definitely be out for 3 months but if that puts me back to work at the beginning of June and we move a few weeks later or even a month later, it seems silly to put Zachary in daycare for 1 month. So it could be a long time if it's maternity leave +moving somewhere +finding a job!

Last time I was induced on a Tuesday and I worked up until the Friday before. Otherwise I would have worked until I went into labor. This time I will try to work as long as I can again.

I'm working as long as I can and my supervisor is being super awesome and not making me commit to how many weeks I'm going to take off until after the baby is here. I'm planning on working until the baby comes and then taking 8 weeks off, or 6 weeks and then maybe working part time weeks for a little bit, we'll see what happens.

I get 4 weeks before my scheduled due date, so Feb, 3rd will be my last day. I'll be off until mid-October thanks to maternity leave, bonding leave, vacation and my sabbatical!!! Can't wait.

My due date is march 21st and my last day of work will probably be march 5th. Not sure if i wll be returning though.

I am due March 7 and will probably stop working when the Winter Olympics start (Feb. 12). I commute to work across the Canadian border and I am worried about the stress of huge border line-ups. I get to take a year off.
