Ok, so the spotting is for unknown reasons. The placenta is definitely NOT placed over the cervix YAY! There were no tears or looks of any reasons for the red spotting. They talked to us about her other health issues which will be addressed more at Friday's OB appointment and then further when we are able to get her into the Endocrinologist for her Grave's disease.
Anyway, they did a complete anatomy scan today and everything looked really good. The only issue was the umbilical cord which does not have three vessels like most do (most have two arteries and one vein), this one has one artery and one vein. They didn't seem too concerned about it, just said that we would have to have more ultrasounds to keep a close eye that the baby is growing properly and that the heart is functioning properly. So we go back on the 18th for another scan to take another look at the baby and a closer look at the heart.
We were also able to find out the sex, we got a definite money shot! SO, the results are in.....
